One of the oldest manufacturers is the French company Peugeot. These were the bicycles on which the engines were mounted. In the process of development, the brothers Armand and Eugene Peugeot were constantly working on improving the motorcycle and, by the end of 1902, abandoning the previously used Zedel engines, made their own. And although at first these engines were practically a copy of their predecessors, over time they managed to develop and produce many different engines. Differing in both design and volume. These engines were in great demand and since 1904 the English company Norton installed them on their motorcycles. Motorbikes with these motors set many speed records and won prizes in various races. Unfortunately, since 1958, motorcycle production has been stopped, giving preference to automotive and scooter manufacturing.
